About Stephen Tanner (That’s me!)
I am currently a student at Virginia Tech. I am working on my BS in Computer Science. I have been using and infecting others with FOSS and Linux since 2005.
My first programming language was technically TI-83+ basic, followed by VisualBasic6, then some HTML. After about a decade, I started learning real programming with C++, and have since moved to dominate my speciality in Java but looking to expand into Android/iPhone development as well as working more with Python.
I was previously interning at a IT company doing Level 1 Tech Support. I am currently in search of part time employment.
